"The boat journey is exciting and comfortable despite being 8 hrs up river and 5 back. If lucky u meet the researchers and hear about their ingenious projects focused on the flora and fauna and the staff are attentive and wonderful as is the food. We were up at 4.30 most mornings which is no sweat as u go to bed about 9 pm. The clay licks are disappointing this time of year as the Macaws come rarely and the smaller birds fear the hawks without the macaws on the lick...but the birds accumulate...

"Our experience was amazing! This was an experience that I have always dreamed about. The guides for the excursions were the best. They were so knowledgeable and friendly. I will never forget all the beautiful sounds that you wake up to in the rainforest. The lodge was very eco friendly and the rooms were very clean. The rooms only have three walls so it is normal to find an insect here and there. I will definitely be returning. "

They tried to put us in a group to do all the same excursions as a group. We opted out of the excursions, which all cost extra. Wanted to relax by the pool but cool weather settled in for a few days. Par conséquent, j'ai été gêné par la lumière et les conversations tardives des occupants des chambres d'à-côté. Par ailleurs, difficile de préserver son intimité dans une telle configuration. "True jungle experience. Brought in on long covered top boat, must walk on mud steps to get from boat to real steps. Cabins are rustic with screen windows. Bed covered in mosquito netting. Cold showers. Power on 6-9 pm, which was fine bc you go to sleep early. Meals were quite good. Our guide, Marcello, provided by the lodge, was excellent. He saw a myriad of bugs and animals we never would have spotted. Marcello very knowledgeable, made our trip. He took us out on a boat for piranha fishing and...

"Posadas was a lovely jungle lodge. The staff were friendly and helpful with amazing service. Beautiful setting and Rainforest Expeditions made our transportation and excursions smooth and flawless. Food was fresh and delicious satisfying to the taste buds. The jungle sounds were wonderful to wake up to and helped to send you off to sleep. I highly recommend and would love to return sometime. A lot of wildlife just around the lodge."
